Launching in 2022
Hegiin’s Private Dog Paddocks will be launching in 2022.
While we gain the relevant licences and permission we’re looking for a number of volunteers and their furry friends to come and test our dog paddocks absolutely free of charge by appointment / booking only.
As a private landowner, your visit will be at your own risk in our private dog paddocks and will be supervised. We will ask you to complete a questionnaire after your visit in order that we can improve the experience when we do launch and can iron out any teething problems and issues that arise.
As a long-term supporter of Guide Dogs if you would like to give a donation to Guide Dogs then we’re sure they would welcome it.

Arrival procedure
- Enter the driveway of Glenwood House. Please respect the 10 MPH speed limit (MAX). Follow the driveway towards the stables and park on the left.
- There is CCTV recording 24/7 to keep everyone safe.
- Please try not to arrive more than 5 minutes before the booking.
Departing procedure
- You need to leave the area you’ve hired after 55 minutes giving 5 minutes turnaround time. Please respect the incoming people and dogs that expect the same uninterrupted 55 minutes booked.
- IF you arrive late, for the convenience of others and to avoid dispute you MUST leave at the end of the 55-minute slot booked.
- Maximum 3 dogs per session
About us
As a family we have owned and loved dogs of all shapes and sizes for over 70 years. For the last 25 years, we have had the pleasure of being able to exercise our four-legged family members here in the paddocks of Glenwood House at the entrance to Cromwell Woods, Southowram.
We are active supporters of Guide Dogs and have decided to give back a percentage of our profits to this fine charity.
We do welcome any suggestions and/or advice that will help us to help your HEGIIN dog paddock exercising experience.
A dog really is man and woman’s best friend, a bond only understood by we dog lovers. They deserve the very best in return for their unconditional love for us, tell us what’s needed and they’ll get it.

Luxury Dog Boarding at Glenwood House
The Luxury Dog Boarding at Glenwood House will be ready for accepting bookings, opening in July 2022.
Please watch this space, Facebook or Twitter for updates as you may want to book very early to suit your 2022 summer holiday plans and to avoid disappointment.
Glenwood House is offering hotel-like accommodation and pampering for your very special family member(s).
You can relax on your time away knowing your best friend(s) is/ are probably having a better time than you are!
All prices include meals (of choice), two, twenty-minute walks per day, brushing and cuddles, TV watching is optional. There is a maximum of 2 dogs staying per day. No kennels or cages just supervised run of the house, big beds and blankets.
We will of course elaborate on the content of our high standards, obtaining a government licence, before accepting ANY official bookings. Considering we hope to be open in July 2022 we will register your interest and hold any particular dates without any payment until we are certified and officially approved.
